I live in a small Midwestern town and I like it.

I’m currently the director of civic engagement for the national nonprofit News Literacy Project. We teach people how to think about news and information (not what to think) so they’re empowered with the tools to decide what information is safe to share and act on. 

In my role, I manage organizational partnerships, organize workshops for independent learners, and promote News Literacy Project’s resources for adults, including our platform RumorGuard, which tracks trends and tropes in misinformation.
